Sioux Lookout is home to many beautiful beaches, but Farlinger Town Beach is definitely one of the most popular among tourists and locals alike. The beach is situated on the northeastern shore of Lake Superior and offers stunning views of the lake. Plenty of activities keep you busy at Farlinger Town Beach, including swimming, sunbathing, fishing, and hiking. If you're looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Farlinger Town Beach is the perfect spot for you.

In December, the lake will be frozen. The township actually plows off a couple of sections for ice skating and even a tiny skate trail to the docks. The skate trial is a little bumpy, so it's not the best for figure skates but you can skate on it fine with hockey skates. The Pelican after, they have some of the best sandwiches the town has ever had!
