Sioux Mountain Trail Hike is one of the most popular Sioux Lookout trails. The trail is approximately 3 miles long and offers breathtaking views of Sioux Lookout. There are also several benches along the way, providing a perfect opportunity to take a break and enjoy the scenery. Sioux Mountain Trail Hike is a must-do for anyone visiting Sioux Lookout.

Google maps directions do not take you to the hike location. To get to the trailhead drive down Hudson Highway turn right down Pelican Falls Road. The road splits in a Y and the pavement ends. Stay to the right & continue on the unpaved road. The road is not in good condition & is not recommended for non-SUV, truck, or 4x4 vehicles. Drive until you reach a gate on the right that indicates Private property. Park here & do not block the gate. The trail continues up a single track unpaved road. The trail is unmarked. Eventually you will reach signs indicating Lookouts to the West & East. Pick one & enjoy the truly spectacular views from the mountain top! The trail is of moderate difficulty and takes approximately 1 hour to reach the summit.
