Sleeping Giant Provincial Park is a must-visit for anyone visiting Northern Ontario. The park is home to the world-famous Sleeping Giant, a massive rock formation that resembles a sleeping giant. The park is home to towering old-growth forests, pristine lakes, and rugged cliffs. Visitors can explore the park on foot, by canoe, or even by rock climbing. Sleeping Giant is also home to an array of wildlife, including black bears, wolves, and moose.
Breathtaking views of Lake Superior and the surrounding area are available from the Top of the Giant Trail and Thunder Bay Lookout. Over 100 km of incredible hiking trails with many spectacular geological features such as the ‘Sea Lion’ and Tee Harbour. Also it offers excellent wildlife viewing in the park’s boreal forest: deer, wolf, fox, lynx and over 200 bird species.
