Straddling the Manitoba–Saskatchewan border, Flin Flon sits amid rugged Canadian Shield outcrops with easy access to Bakers Narrows Provincial Park for lake vistas, fishing, beaches, and its scenic tower. The city’s quirky name—honouring the novel character Josiah Flintabbatey Flonatin—is celebrated by “Flinty,” a 24-foot statue that greets visitors at the entrance to town.
